Grange Technology College

Grange Technology College is committed to providing the highest standard of education and achievement for every student.  We have very high aspirations for all and believe that everyone has the capacity to learn and make exceptional progress.

Grange is a diverse, vibrant and cohesive community. We have a student and staff body of over 2200.  Our students join us in Year 7 from many of our partner primary schools in the local area. On leaving Grange in Year 13, othey are confident, resilient and successful individuals ready for their next challenges, be that employment, training or University.  We are committed to providing a very high standard of provision for all students and are privileged to share the campus with Southfield School, enabling us to make provision for students with a wide range of needs on one campus

Our school community is built on the values of Aspiration, Respect and Equality.  The school and its community, including students, staff, parents and governors aim to ensure that all students will:

  • Have the highest aspirations, access to the best teaching, and achieve to their full potential
  • Enjoy a broad, balanced, stimulating and innovative experience which provides them with a wide knowledge and understanding of the world
  • Feel part of socially cohesive community where everyone's contribution is valued and difference is celebrated
  • Be self-confident, socially prepared young people who feel safe, happy and healthy and are able to make a positive contribution to society
  • Be hardworking, resilient, independent learners who have the skills and self-belief to make positive choices about their future.

We believe that is it essential that students are able to learn in an environment where they feel safe and well supported and recognise the importance of maintaining a positive, caring and inclusive ethos, where the ability of every student is recognised, developed and rewarded.

We are very proud to be a school where students make excellent progress.  A very large number of our students enter the Grange sixth form with many of them progressing on to University where they achieve success in a variety of fields such as medicine, new technology and business studies.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to the Southfield Grange Campus and to working closely with you in the future.
