Welcome To Our Community
Grange Technology College
In September 2013 the school converted to become an Academy under the control of the Southfield Grange Trust.
We are delighted each year to be able to celebrate with so many students who achieve both good GCSE and A Level results. This is testament to the hard work put in by students, staff and the considerable support given by our parents/carers. Year on year Students at Grange have consistently produced improved and indeed record results.
Our 2013 results have been no exception and we are very proud to report that;
We are also delighted to welcome in excess of 220 of our Year 11 students back to study with us in our sixth form where they are studying A-Level (or equivalent) courses. In excess of 100 of our students make the decision to continue their studies at University level and it is always a pleasure to hear how they are progressing into the Higher Education and then the world of work.
Uniform and equipment
Thank you to parents and guardians in ensuring your child was ready for the new term with the correct uniform and equipment. We were delighted to see our students return to school in their new uniform, looking very smart and ready to learn.
We do appreciate the effort families have put into getting uniform for students, particularly in the sixth form where places were only confirmed at the last minute.
We are now checking student's equipment and students have been provided with a plastic wallet to put their equipment in. This is to ensure students develop and maintain good habits which will hold them in good stead for their exams, future employment and education. Equipment students are expected to carry are a minimum of pen, pencil, rubber, ruler, calculator, planner and ID card. Many thanks to all those parents who have ensured their child is fully equipped and ready to learn.
We look forward to working with you through the remainder of this year.
